Three‐phase current reconstruction method for permanent magnet synchronous motor based on current transformer sensors

The position sensorless permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), with its simple structure, is applied in the aerospace field high reliability requirements. To drive PMSM safely, three-phase current measured from driver needs to be isolated for closed-loop control. And then, accuracy measurement crucial achieving optimal performance. In paper, transformer (CT) centre taps employed isolate and measure high-frequency of inverter switch. Additionally, an algorithm proposed reconstruct switch into low-frequency phase current. Subsequently, measuring method are platform, which drives a 100W PMSM. Finally, reconstructed waveform compared waveform, experimental results show that above effective feasible.
